Black Rock Sweeps Best of Fairfield County Reader Polls in 2010

Black Rock businesses dominated in their categories in Fairfield County Weekly's annual survey again in this year's Readers Poll.  In fact, the editors of Fairfield County Weekly were sufficiently impressed ot create a special category for our Black Rock community culture.  The Fairfield Weekly staff noting that "the businesses and residents of Black Rock have somehow carved out a unique identity for their seaside community." They noted that people associate Black Rock with colorful little restaurants and shops, urban renewal, live music, and a neighborhood feel.  Black Rock is popular with artists, young professionals, and retirees.
