Weston Real Estate Market Trends June 2012

The Weston, Connecticut real estate market has been trending up over the past three months in terms of prices and prices are now higher than they were a year ago. This is great news!  Nearly all indicators over the past three months were positive, only the Average Days on Market is trending down.  On the whole, the most recent indicators are moving in the direction of a more balanced market

We use the 12 month absorption rate (see chart above) to determine inventory absorption, which means that it would take 23.3 months to sell every home currently on the market in Weston. This is significantly higher than most other Fairfield County towns.

It is still a strong Buyer's Market in Weston, but there are indicators pointing towards a more balanced market, which is good news for Sellers.
