Fairfield County Homes for Sale: Osprey Watch at Ash Creek

Osprey Watch at Ash Creek

We think 6/21st should have produced chicks so just may not be viable eggs.  They certainly have had rough weather to contend with !!!  This evening 6 pm "she" was again on nest and "he" was on drift wood  keeping watch. The male keeps beinging more sticks!!  I guess he is positive about hatchlings... soo am I ... at least one positive happening

Gail:  So tell me... just "how" do you know that it is "she" who is on the nest, and it is "he" who is out on the driftwood keeping watch ?  Ya just never know.  You might be dealing with a pair of very liberated Osprey here.  Thanks so much for sharing... please keep us up to date on the Osprey watch.  We want baby pictures !

Karen, Well, I think that's why the genders are in "quotes".  No one's going to get close enough to find out.  Our Ash Creek bird watchers bring in the reports.  I don't live close enough to the tidal estuary any more to see the birds on a regular basis, but we have some avid bird watchers who really keep tabs on them.
